Is it because Dreaming is better than the Reality? Or is it the other way around?

ree

Science says that People were less happy when daydreaming than when they were focused on the task at hand. Other studies indicate a wandering mind is more common when our mood is low, and that it can enhance feelings of depression.

Whereas Science also says, Daydreaming Is Good for the Mind. People with more working memory can stay on task, even when thinking about other things. If this happens often you probably have a pretty capable working memory, new research suggests. This mind wandering, it seems, actually gives your working memory a workout.

I feel its both ways!

I Daydream mostly when either I have nothing to do or when I am depressed and I dont want to face the reality but, very recently I realised that this way we become less productive and we lose focus.

Even if you like to day-dream you should know how to detach yourself from it and get back to the reality.

I have very often seen people lost in their thoughts be it on the metro or bus or even while walking in the mall and most of them either look stressed or they just dont have anything else to do.

The amount of time we spend in daydreaming can become productive as well if we try to practice meditation. Yes, it helps.

1) Meditation

2) Get up and walk around

3) Commit your time into something that requires focus

4) Sleep well

5) Try to give up stress slowly through exercises or talking to someone.

Body language speaks for itself! Your way of communication even before you start speaking. Yes, thats what BODY LANGUAGE does. It is non-verbal but expresses a lot more than words. It says way more than you can ever say. This is what makes you win a Job or lose it. Recruiters nowadays look at how one walks in, how do they greet people around them, In what posture do they keep their arms and legs. AND SADLY YOUR BODY LANGUAGE CAN NEVER LIE! So incase you want to "PRETEND" There are less chances your body language will support you.

There are certain aspects and traits that your body language coveys.

1) Confidence in yourself

2) Your achievements in life

3) Humble OR Arrogant (it shows which one are you out of these two)

4) How do you see the other person (Do you respect them or not, since it wrapping your hands infront of someone indicates the "I DONT CARE" behavior

5) It says all about your mood (i.e happy, sad, excited, not interested etc)

Your eyes they say a lot if you are stressed you will blink more often

Your Lips they will indicate nervousness if you bite them continuously

Your hands/fingers constant movement of hands shows discomfort and confusion.

You can research and understand more about these aspects of you BODY LANGUAGE

If you are like any other human being then you have definitely felt lost at some point of time or you are going through that phase at this moment. This is perfectly normal and you being able to determine that you are not on track is a milestone in itself.I feel this every other day but, since I know my aims and goals I put myself back onto the track every now and then.So before we start you need to have aims and goals in your life that keep you going on and coming back the right track. We all go off track and start getting depressed but these 7 tips will help you control your mind in a healthy way.

1) I have kept a diary in which I keep updating any details about what I dream to become (Professionally or as a person). Trust Me I cant emphasize on this enough. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to have a record of something you want to become this shows your seriousness towards your dreams. I keep going back to my diary and reading what all did I write and how far have I come it always puts me back on track.

2) Go Online and Search for Meet up groups (people with similar interests) Entrepreneurs, motivators or just some people who are more experienced than you. Meet them and feel the difference. You will get SO INSPIRED like for real. This will also build your network.

3) Exercise and Meditate (IT HELPS FOR SURE). This has put me on track many times. I can see a clear path in front of my eyes while I close my eyes to meditate or while exercising. REFRESHES MY MIND.

4) Simplify your Goals and go easy on yourself. OVERTHINKING KILLS FOCUS. Calm down there is NO HURRY! TELL YOURSELF THIS.

5) Talk to yourself or to “YOUR MOST TRUSTHWORTHY PERSON” (Could be anyone) and think of reasons that distract you and how to deal with them in a healthy manner

6) Increase your knowledge and do research about ways to get to your goals (AGAIN GO ONLINE) and see how people with no resources have reached heights on success (NOT ONLY IN TERMS OF MONEY BUT OTHERWISE AS WELL)

7) NEVER STOP TRUSTING YOURSELF. Trust each and every trait you have. CONFIDENCE, PASSION, FOCUS or whatever good traits you have trust them. That makes you unique.

I have been through this “getting off the track” nearly every other year or at times once in 6 months when I evaluate my life choices but, then I pull up my shoes and step back onto the path I have chosen. All these 7 ways have helped me A LOT. Do try them and share with me if they were beneficial
